WHAT IS REMY HAIR?
Remy hair has the cuticles intact and facing in the same direction. This hair does not easily tangle, unlike other types of human hair in which the cuticle is facing in different directions. True Remy hair is manageable and has a sheen. The term originates from India where women sacrifice their hair and donate it to their temple. Virgin Remy hair is considered the best type of Remy hair. This type is the strongest, meaning that the hair has not been processed. This hair has not been dyed, colored, or treated and it comes from a single source. In almost every instance virgin Remy will black #1 to #1B off black. Lighter colored virgin Remy is rare and extremely expensive.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LACE FRONT WIG AND A FULL LACE WIG?
A front lace wig has lace mesh attached to the front of a wig while the back of the wig is constructed of sewn tracks. The front of the unit can be attached to your head with an adhesive giving the illusion of a natural hairline. Some front lace units have clips or an adjustable strap in the unit. These units do not require any adhesive.
A full lace unit is constructed of all lace throughout the unit. These wigs can be parted anywhere and you can place hair in a high ponytail or bun. You can virtually create any hairstyle that you would be able to create with your natural hair. Adhesive will need to be applied around the entire hairline of the unit. Naturally Yours provides a variety of cap styles and sizing for your specific needs.
The lace is either constructed of Swiss lace or French lace. Swiss lace is lighter in weight and much more fragile. French lace is sturdier and does not tear as easily.
